WE NEED AN A/C!!

And we need one badly.

So we are all moved into our new house... I love it. There's just one thing missing: central air. We were spoiled to have it in the condo, but with yesterday being the hottest day of the year so far, it was horrible, and a couple of fans cannot do the job of a few thousand BTUs. In the meantime, we might get one of those portable A/Cs, and then eventually get central air. It is a big necessity.

Besides that, everything has been great, but busy. We moved on Thursday... the movers came in late because they got stuck at a "piano job" (and as Red mentioned, sounded like a cartoon). But they came, they worked their asses off, and everything was moved. Cable came, although even though the guy was there a long time, he gave us a faulty DVR box and forgot to put in a cable outlet in the family room. The furniture and washer/dryer came on Saturday, and I had fun buying a new lawn mower and weed wacker. It will be even more fun using them... ahh, chores and chores.

We unpacked almost everything... all of the important stuff is all done, especialy in the kitchen and living room. And we will soon paint the baby's room and get that all set up, as much as we can.

Friday, I was able to take the car to the commuter rail to get to work, and it was not that bad at all. This morning, Melissa had to drive me there, so I had to leave earlier, but I still got to work around the same time... damn unpredictable public transportation. We are still waiting for Melissa's aunt to buy a new car... we are going to have to try and get by until then.

AND there is only one more class in my MBA program. Two more hours on Wednesday evening. I still can't believe it.

Life is changing so quickly... one day soon I am going to look back and go, what the hell happened during these past two months???
