R.I.P. Cory Lidle.

Whether you are a Yankees fan or a Red Sox fan, you wouldn't want anything like that to happen to anyone. It's scary enough when a plane crashes into a building, but it's weird when it is someone you know (a friend, someone famous, etc.). It is a real shame.

That's all for today.

I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday about the Cory Lidle crash and she was like, "But aren't you a Red Sox fan?" I had to explain that even though I don't root for the Yankees that's not the same as wishing them dead in horrible plan crashes. A tragedy is a tragedy, regardless of pinstripes.

Wow, your friend actually said that? Jesus. And this might be splitting hairs, but Lidle wasn't a YANKEE-Yankee anyway; he's been on like seven other teams, and he wasn't with the Yanks very long.

Aviation is a dangerous amateur hobby. People who get their pilot licenses know the risks going in. I feel sad for his wife and son though.

Yeah, it's truly sad. Why not Jeter?
